week 05A (Tuesday)

I'm feeling a lot better after yesterday, seeing that I caught back up on the issues I was having. Sometimes, the work I do doesn't save, for some strange reason. But, that's not too bad because I already know how to redo it. I'm still having issues with updating the scan game. I have no idea what could be causing this. It must have something to do with AS3. The scan game just moves back and forth a few times. All I want to do is tweak the 3D rotation a bit and add text. The lumpectomy is about as done as it's going to get. There isn't much to it.
The respiration game works, but not in the way that I'd like. The exhale is supposed to be represented by a rapid pressing of keys, but I keep getting only 2 or 3 or 4 keys, and not more than 6. Also, the keys don't stop detecting after their initial hits, which means they still work even if held down.
I redid the art for the vomit aimer. It just requires the particles to be emitted and collision checked against their intended target. Some people wonder why I chose a vomit experience, because it is negative. It is both a common frequent experience to be dealt with and something that is easy to program.
If I can polish off these interactive experiences this week, I can start working on the inclusive "over experience" and all of its information, art, and links to each individual experience. This should be completable by week 09.
